When you bring up 3D weapon-based fighting games, the SoulCalibur series can’t be beaten. From its remarkably fast-paced gameplay to its baritone-laden announcer, it’s a franchise worth following if you so much have an inkling of love for good fighting games.
However, the tale of souls & swords that is eternally retold has its fans that can’t decide which is the better game: SoulCalibur or SoulCalibur II.
Rejoice, beat-em-up fans of 90s video games based after The Warriors! Streets of Rage is making a comeback with a fourth instalment (fifth if we count the equally-awesome Streets of Rage Remake fan game). It’s going to be created by DotEmu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games (of Streets of Fury fame).
