Episode 60 – Videogame Awkwards

The video game Awards 2017 has come and gone, and this is our wrap up show. From the controversy of Player Unknown Battlegrounds nomination for game of the year to all the announcements and reveals. Plus our version of the awards where we state our categories, nominees and winners. And we have the one final video game review with Mr Toffee giving his thoughts on the recently released Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Xenoblade returns!

Journey to Elysium as the sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles arrives on the Nintendo Switch. Along with titles like Zelda- Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey, the switch is steadily building quite the games library. And more importantly makes the Switch, the veritable stocking stuffer of 2017.

However, with triple-A games like Nier: Automata or Persona 5 doing business, does XBC2 have the legacy to push ahead of the crowd? Mr Toffee puts the game through the paces and passes judgement on the final major game release of the year.

And the Winner is

And in our main segment, from the mind of Geoff Keighley comes the VGAs 2017. We go through all the moments worth mentioning, from the trailers, reveals and the actual awards themselves.
