Stranger Danger! And just in time for Halloween too (well almost), it’s another special spooky-themed episode where we look at all things horrible, horrendous and horrific this 2017. And in our feature segment, grab your 20 sided die and BMX bikes. We return to the upside down with our take on Netflix’s Stranger Things 2.
Some things stranger this way comes.
Continuing in our yearly tradition of Halloween themed episodes, we’re plunging right back into the darkness. Taking a look at all things horror, it’s been a great year so far. With releases like Jordan Peel’s “Get Out” proving that there are still new ways for the genre to go. And also with the remake of Stephen King’s killer clown epic”It” showing that horror is still as relevant a box office draw as ever.
And starting the torture porn train going, Mr Toffee talks the return of the Saw franchise and series mainstay Tobin Bell. Marking the eighth entry into the series with Jigsaw. And also Eccentric Tom reviews Happy Death Day and it asks the age-old question. What if we crossed Groundhog Day with a slasher film?
And speaking of nostalgia, in our feature segment we give our thoughts on the much anticipated second season to the Netflix series Stranger Things. Boasting more characters, more special effects and more references, does the show improve on the previous season? Or are the Duffer Brothers stretched for ideas and felt the need to add more things on their shoulders like a jacket from the 80s. Tune in to find out!
