Episode 40 – Mummy Issues

In this monster packed episode we return from the box office with our thoughts on two new flicks. Firstly we “Big Up” the finally available in our region “Colossal”. Where “Anne Hathaway” stomps through the streets of Korea. Is this the Comedy/Kaiju (kaimedy?)film we’ve been waiting for? Or is there something more underneath the surface?

And in our main segment we unravel the latest attempt with a Universal monster movie… erm…universe. Tom Cruise tries to reinvigorate another franchise with “The Mummy”. Does he have the star power to launch a universe or should we finally bury the idea for a DUCU to rest?

Episode 039 – Wonder Womens Liberation

GIRL POWER amirite! This week we have some videogames talk with “Injustice 2”. Then we bring back fan favorite segment Marry, F**K, Kill – “DC Edition” And in our main feature we finally get around to talking about the Wonder Woman movie. Could this be the film that reinvigorates audiences interest for the upcoming JLA film. Is DC finally going to give Marvel a run for it’s money. Are there too many superhero films?

Having sacked both Mr Toffee and Dr Shafique in a special episode dedicated to his favourite videogame studio “Paradox Development Studios”. We talk very much in detail about “Europa Universalis”, “Crusader Kings” and maybe a little “Stellaris” among others. Plus a special game of “Actual History or Paradox Achievement”.
